GSEI is a China-based developer and operator of solid waste to energy (“WTE”) and tap water / wastewater treatment projects (“W/WW”). The company manages a fleet of high quality, profitable and operating projects in the regions of Beijing, Shanghai and Jiangsu, including a flagship WTE project in Beijing that is the largest WTE plant in Asia. Led by a pioneer of China’s WTE and W/WW sectors, the company is poised for strong near-term growth supported by China’s trajectory of rapid economic development and urbanization. In December 2014, Hudson sold its stake in the company to Beijing Enterprises Holdings Limited.
